We Still Need Your Help!
"JUNIOR"
Since our last update Junior's medical needs have changed. The splint that was initially used to heal Junior's fracture was not working as expected. As a result, he had to undergo emergency surgery down south to have a bone plate put in that would hold the fractured leg in place and allow it to heal correclty. The surgery has been a success and Junior is recovering as originally hoped. However, as a result of this unexpected development his medical expenses have reached close to $7000. With only a little more than $1000 raised we are in desperate need of donations to help us pay Junior's medical bill. We hope that people who are able to will donate to our cause, so that we can have the funds to save and help more animals that will undoubtedly come into our care.

MISSING
Ella Blue is a beautiful, Shepherd/Husky female cross. She is black, brown and white with the most stunning blue eyes. She is one of the wonderful dogs rescued from Mile 26 in Cochrane. She ran away from the shelter a few weeks back and despite attempts to approach her and to trap her we have been unsuccessful. Ella Blue was originally hanging around the shelter on Mahoney, but she has not been seen in over a week. We are now asking the public to help us find her if you see her in your area. Ella Blue is extremely shy and skittish. She will not allow anyone to approach her, even people she knows. If you see her please call us immediately.
